The specific heat capacity for ideal gas is a function of temperature. This calculator solves the heat capacity for air and oil flue gas within the temperature range of -18 °C to 1225 °C. The values are useful when you calculate the compression and expansion processes in turbo machinery. The temperature can be given either in Celcius of Fahrenheit degrees.
